Remote Control

In week 9, my favorite topic in this lesson is remote controls. I did not know that this class teaches about remote control. Still, it is essential for people to have the privilege of using remote control especially for IT professionals to help other people when it comes to fixing their computer.

 

Regarding remote control, IT professionals rely on using the remote control to control another device's PC. Unfortunately, from a security perspective, there are a lot of scammers and hackers who rely on this software a lot so they would try to take advantage of this privilege in order to access someone's computer. Luckily, there are a bunch of IT tech from Microsoft that was installed from the computer, and if so, both users have access to Dial-up to the internet, private dial-ip, vpn, dedicated connection, remote terminal, and VoIP.

 

I think that it is reasonable for a user to use vpn during a monitoring session when contacting IT, which gives them protection backup against scammers. VoIP is a very common use practice for both users and professionals to work on solving the issue of the devices.
