Binary Numbers

In week 4, we discuss the difference between the OSI model and the TCP/IP model, which gives a big insight into the fact that they both have a similar goal: to ensure that the internet performs well. Although this might be a hunch, I do know that the OSI model is used for better security because the OSI model is meant for security. However, the latest version explains that it is more powerful and faster than TCP/IP, proving that most network segmentation should be used. There needs to be clarity about the IP address and MAC address since the IP address goes to the category of TCP/IP while the MAC address goes for the OSI model, which means that both are capable in their way.

Speaking of IP addresses, I learned how to solve binary numbers using IP addresses by following what the book says. Although it was tricky, I solved the formula by following the 128bits to 1bits, which helped me do a formula to get the binary number. As for the MAC address, understanding it is beyond my understanding.
