RIP vs OSPF
In week 5, I learned about the differences in using network protocols, which sometimes opens up to the point that OSPF is a way better network protocol than the other. RIP is suitable for a small company with smaller networks and simple router table needs that allow 16 hops. Which is defined as an old protocol
However, technology evolution came by and invented OSPF, a link state that uses bandwidth instead of hops and is a way for efficiency. It can even be used for more prominent companies and more extensive networks since it can monitor the routing table for complex networks.
I highly recommend using OSPF regardless if it's a small company or not, but it is meant for a bigger company.
